Description of the Destroyit 3803 Strip Cut Paper Shredder

The Destroyit 3803 strip cut shredder has many aspects that make it a great addition to any office. It has a sleek, high quality wooden cabinet that is mounted on casters for easy accessibility and mobility around the office. Inside is a pull-out bag frame, holding up to a generous 42 gallons of shred volume, mounted on rollers for easy replacement of the shred bag. It has a single phase motor rated for continuous operation and its durable gears are neatly hidden in a dust-proof enclosure. Producing security level 2 shred, the 3803 strip cut can handle up to 20 to 22 sheets of paper at one time at a rate of 35 feet per minute through its incredibly wide 16” feed opening. In addition to paper, the strip cut model easily handles staples, paper clips, CDs and credit cards. Safety is an important element to every Destroyit shredder and the 3803 is no exception. It features the “SPS” (Safety Protection System) which has an electronically controlled safety shield covering the feed opening and preventing anything from accidentally being shredded. If the shield is lifted, the shredder shuts off to protect the user. Also, the 3803 features the “Easy Switch,” a large control element that not only allows for quick reverse or power cut-off, but also has 3 LED-lit icons that indicate operational status. If there is a paper jam, the cabinet door is opened or if the shred bag is full, it will cause the shredder to stop and the indicator light will alert you of the problem. Its cutting shafts are made from high quality, hardened steel and come with a lifetime warranty from MBM.
