Description of the Destroyit 3803 Cross Cut Paper Shredder

The Destroyit 3803 has a nice assortment of features and staples that make it a great office shredder. Primarily, the “SPS” (Safety Protection System) features an electronically controlled transparent protective shield over the feed opening, allowing in only materials to be shredded. Should the shield be opened, the system will quickly shut off to prevent an accident. It also features Destroyit’s “Easy Switch,” a large rocker switch that not only displays 3 different operational statuses using LED-lit icons, but it also allows for quick feed reversal or power shut-off in the event of an emergency. The shredder automatically starts and stops by photo cell, meaning energy is never wasted when nothing is being shredded. All of these features reside in a high quality wooden cabinet mounted on casters for convenience. The durable plastic bin can hold up to 42 gallons of shred volume is easily removed for the replacement of the disposable shred bags. The single phase motor is rated for its continuous operation and its durable gears are in a dust-proof enclosure. The hardened steel cutting shafts come with a lifetime warranty and are powerful enough to easily handle paper clips, credit cards, staples and CDs. It has a sheet capacity of 14 to 16 sheets through its extremely spacious 16” feed opening.
