The Destroyit 3105 cross cut shredder covers all of the bases in centralized office shredders. With a sheet capacity of 30 to 32 sheets through its roomy 12” feed opening and a shred speed of 30 feet per minute, the 3105 quickly turns your papers into security level 3 shred. The sturdy wooden cabinet houses a pull out shred bin mounted on wheels for easy replacement of the disposable shred bags. The shredder bag can handle as much as 48 gallons of shred volume, which means more time shredding and less time emptying the bags. The single-phase motor is rated for continuous operation and is in dust-proof housing. Its cutting shafts are made out of high quality hardened steel and are accompanied by a lifetime warranty. They are strong enough to powerfully take paper clips, staples, credit cards and even CDs. The 3105 cross cut also comes standard with an incredibly convenient automatic oil injection system. The oil is stored on the outside and the internal pump consistently lubricates the cutting shaft so that the shredder is in peak condition all of the time. It is much more convenient than having to manually oil the shredder. It also comes equipped with Destroyit’s “SPS” (Safety Protection System) which has a transparent protective shield over the feed opening that restricts everything but materials to be shredded. If the cover is lifted, it automatically shuts off the shredder for the user’s safety. The 3105 cross cut has an “Easy Switch,” which is an oversized button on the shredder that can quickly be located and pressed to reverse the feed or shut it off in an emergency. It also has three LED-lit icons which display different operational statuses. The “ECC” (Electronic Capacity Control) is an indicator that displays how the machine is handling the sheet volume and is used to avoid paper jams.
