Description of the Destroyit 4107 Cross Cut Paper Shredder
The Destroyit 4107 cross cut shredder is a High Capacity and high powered machine. Shredding at level 3 security, the 4107 easily destroys CDs, VHS tapes and even hardbound documents with its hardened steel cutting shafts that are soft metal resistant. The centralized oiler provides consistent lubrication to the cutting head, keeping it in peak performance. The shredder is mounted on heavy-duty casters and houses a bin with a capacity of 78 gallons of shred volume. The shred bin has a pull-out bag frame mounted on rollers for easy replacement of disposable bags and is also accessible by a convenient back door on the machine. The 4107 can handle a sheet capacity of 65 to 82 and shreds at a speed of 53 feet per minute. It features a three phase motor rated for continuous operation and its durable gears are stored neatly and securely in dust-proof housing. The Destroyit 4107 also comes with a wide array of features that make the machine safer and more convenient to use. Large removable side tables provide the user with a lot of work space and are especially convenient when shredding a lot at a time. An easy-to-use control panel is front and center on the shredder, featuring buttons for forward, reverse and stop. For added security, the 4107 has a safety lock and key in addition to its main switch and emergency stop button. The machine automatically cuts off in the event of a paper jam, the cabinet door opening or when the shred bag is full and also has optical indicators that light up to alert to one of these hazards.
