The Destroyit 4014/2 SMC (Super Micro Cut) high security shredder combines top notch features with high security technology and the reputation of a Destroyit shredder to produce a truly remarkable machine. Featuring a huge 16” feed opening, the 4014/2 has a sheet capacity of up to 16 sheets. The Automatic Oil Injection System removes the burden of having to frequently and manually oil the feed opening, automatically detecting when the shredder needs oil and pumping it through. This keeps the shredder working as efficiently as possible.The 4014/2 SMC also has all of the features that one comes to expect from Destroyit. The “SPS” (Safety Protection System) has an electronically controlled safety shield that protects the feed opening. Should the shield be opened, the shredder automatically shuts off to prevent injury. In the event of an emergency, the oversized “Easy Switch” button simply needs to be pressed in order to reverse or completely shut off the feed. It also features three icons indicating paper jam, door open or full bag. The automatic start and stop is detected by photo cell and stops the shredder if the bag is full or the door is open. The “ECC” (Electronic Capacity Control) indicates how hard the shredder is working to handle the amount of paper going in and can be used to avoid paper jams. The cabinet is made of high quality wood and set on casters for easy access. The Destroyit 4014/2 SMC even has an energy saving feature that turns off the machine after an hour of inactivity. The 4014/2 SMC shreds at an amazing level 6 security, approved by NSA.
