The Destroyit 3103 strip cut shredder has several elements that set it apart from smaller centralized office shredders. It handles 22 to 24 sheets at a time to produce security level 2 shred and has a speed of 30 feet per minute. Its single phase motor is rated for continuous operation and its durable gears are enclosed in dust-proof housing. The 3103’s cabinet is made from high quality wood and is set on casters for convenience. The 37 gallon pull-out bag frame mechanism is mounted on rollers so you can easily replace the disposable shred bags. The 12” feed opening is spacious enough for papers to be ran through vertically or landscape.

The Destroyit 3103 starts and stops automatically, thanks to the photo sensor. It also has the “SPS” (Safety Protection System) that includes an electronically controlled protective shield covering the feed opening. In order to prevent anything from accidentally getting shredded, the shredder is instantly shut off if the shield is lifted, exposing the field opening. It also has the “Easy Switch,” a large control feature that allows for quick reversal or shut off of the shredder feed. It also has 3 LED-lit icons that indicate different operational statuses that cause the shredder to turn off: full shred bin, cabinet door open or paper jam.
