The Destroyit 2603/2 SMC High Security shredder is a great high security machine. Featuring an 8-sheet capacity, the 2603/2 is efficient as well as safe. It also features the “SPS” (Safety Protection System) with an electronically controlled shield covering the feed opening. The “ESM” (Energy Saving Mode) activates a sleep mode after one hour of inactivity so as not to waste power.The 2603/2 has a top ventilation system to prevent overheating as well as its “Easy Switch” control element. The rocker switch allows for quick feed reversal and power turn-off and also has three LED-lit symbols, indicating an open door, a paper jam or a full shred bag. It also has an “ECC” (Electronic Capacity Control) feature that measures and displays how hard the machine is working and is used to prevent paper jams. The automatic oil injection system keeps the cutting shafts well lubricated for optimum performance. The Destroyit 2603/2 is NSA rated at 15 reams an hour and approved for level 6 high security cross cut shredding.
