The Destroyit 2360 strip cut shredder has a wide array of elements that make it a great deskside shredder. This strip cut shredder has a sheet capacity of 12 to 14 sheets at a speed of 27 feet per minute. The 9 ½” feed opening in large enough to fit all standard sheets of paper and then some. The quiet single phase motor’s durable gears are conveniently enclosed in dust-proof housing inside the cabinet. The high quality wooden cabinet is mounted on casters and inside has a 9 ¼ gallon shred bag that is made of environmentally reusable plastic.The 2360’s high quality hardened steel cutting shafts come with a lifetime warranty and breeze through staples, paper clips and credit cards. The Destroyit 2360 also features MBM’s “SPS” (Safety Protection System) an electronically controlled, transparent protective shield that covers the feed opening, preventing anything but intended materials into the shredder. Should the shield be lifted, exposing the feed opening, the shredder automatically shuts off. The Destroyit 2360 is also energy thrifty, automatically starting and stopping using photo cell detection, so electricity is not wasted while the shredder isn’t in use.
