The Destroyit 2260 strip cut shredder is a great basic shredder for deskside use. The 2260 can handle 10 to 12 sheets of paper at one time through the 8 ¾” feed opening to produce level 2 strip cut shred. The cabinet is made from high quality wood and houses a quiet yet powerful single phase motor with durable gears inside. Its 5 gallon, pull-out shred bin has a convenient window in the front to easily see how much shred volume is inside and know when it needs to be emptied. Its power automatically cuts off when the bin is removed from the cabinetThe Destroyit 2260 shredder sticks with the basic features needed for deskside shredding. The start and stop of the shredder is controlled by the photo cell so it isn’t in use while nothing is being shredded. It also has a single, multi-function control switch with a pilot light that puts the machine in stand-by, stop (off) and reverse. A transparent safety shield protects the feed opening and doesn’t let anything go in there accidentally. The 2260 strip cut’s high quality hardened steel cutting shafts come with a lifetime warranty and easily take staples, paper clips and credit cards. It also has double protection against overheating.
