Quick Overview of the Destroyit 2240 Cross Cut
The Destroyit 2240 cross cut shredder has all of the basics to meet your shredding needs. With a feed capacity of 6 sheets of paper and a shred rate of 12 feet per minute, the 2240 can take standard sheets of paper easily through its nearly 9” throat width. This shredder also takes staples and paper clips, making it unnecessary to painstakingly remove them all before shredding. The shredder is light and easily transported and even features an integrated handle for lifting the shredder from the 5 gallon shred bin. The shredder automatically starts and stops using photo sensor technology, conserving energy when it isn’t in use. It has a simple 3-position rocker switch for forward, stop and reverse, as well as double protection against overheating.
